TeddyHushPrivacy policy
This policy explains how TeddyHush uses information during sound playback, recording, advertising, purchases, support and visits to these pages.
Your recordings and settings
Recordings, imported audio, saved mixes, story associations, language preferences and appearance settings are stored in the app’s private storage on your phone. Buytitude does not operate an app server that receives this content. The app does not upload your recordings for AI analysis or speech recognition. No account or automatic family synchronization is required. Android cloud backup is disabled for the app.
The microphone is used only when you choose to record. Takes stop after three minutes or when the app goes into the background. Import and export use Android’s document picker; the app does not require general access to your photo or media library. Export creates a copy at the destination you select. You can play a saved recording inside the app without exporting it.
Delete recordings using their Delete control. Clearing app data or uninstalling deletes local recordings and settings. Export anything you want to keep. Exported files are managed by the destination you choose. Buytitude cannot remotely retrieve or delete recordings that remain only on your phone.
Ads and privacy choices
The free plan uses Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform. Google’s advertising components may process IP addresses and approximate location, advertising or other device identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostics for advertising, measurement, reliability, security and fraud prevention. The app does not request GPS or precise-location permission. Audio recordings and saved mixes are not supplied to advertising services.
Google’s consent tools show privacy choices where required. An Ad privacy choices control appears in Settings when Google requires it, and Android offers advertising privacy controls. Ads are requested only when Google’s consent status permits requests. Plus removes ads. No additional app analytics SDK is installed. Advertising requests and Google Play purchases require internet access even though bundled content and recordings can be used without it.
Google Play purchases
Google Play processes payments and provides product details and signed purchase status. The app uses this information to verify, acknowledge and restore the one-time Plus purchase, and stores access status locally. It does not receive full payment-card details. Google retains purchase information under its own policies and applicable law. Use the same Google Play account to restore your purchase on another device.
Caregivers and children
TeddyHush is operated by adult parents and caregivers. Babies do not need an account, name, age, birth date or profile. Please do not send children’s personal information to support. If you believe a child has supplied us personal information, contact us so we can address it. Adult caregivers control recording, purchasing and external links.
Support, website and retention
If you email us, we receive your address, message and any attachments you deliberately send, and use them to answer the request. Please avoid passwords, payment credentials and unnecessary personal or medical information. We retain correspondence for handling the request and reasonable follow-up, or longer if legally required. Website and email providers may process connection data and logs to operate and secure those services.
Providers and your rights
See the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s information about partner apps. Providers may process data internationally and retain it under their policies. Information may be disclosed if legally required, to protect rights or security, or in a business transfer subject to applicable protections.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent or complain to a supervisory authority. Email [email protected] with a request; we may need information to verify it. Use the app or Android settings to delete content stored only on your phone. We update this policy and its date when our practices change.
